In #SpaceArtist news, my shop is down, as I transition to a different platform, again, again. My having time for art (and jewelry) making is contingent on an as-yet unforeseen financial windfall allowing me to break free from my job. That said, I do have two big series/projects in the works.

The Library is devastated to learn of the passing of Dolly Parton, a music legend and titan of children's literacy. Her Imagination Library program has earned multiple Library Literacy Awards and, in 2018, she visited us to donate its 100 millionth book to our collection and host a story time. 🦋❤️

So much more than a Country Music Superstar. Philanthropist, humanitarian, defender of diversity & fierce advocate for the working class, she helped fund the Moderna Covid vaccine & donated 332+ million books to children. Thank you, Dolly. We will always love you.♥️ #RIP

I’ve been on a bit of a social media break—unintentional, at first, but also it’s been a busy summer. I do have two wee paintings to share though! Hope to do more in the months to come. There will be jewelry-making also. 😬

I was today years old (and 25 years graduated) when I first encountered a fellow program alum from my tiny now-defunct geology department in southern Oregon. Proof that, as horrible as the internet can be, there are still parts that remind us that the world is charmingly, delightfully small. 🪨
