As a Cubs fan I believe we'd need a bit more than just Singer for Nico. Nico is a top 3 defensive 2B who also plays Gold Glove caliber defense at short, while being a top 10 offensive performer at 2B. Singer has some upside, but has been almost perfectly league average.
