i wish there were a way to update movies like there is games--to create new, definitive versions of the work after one is released as "complete". you can try to do this--see Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner--but people will just always compare the different cuts.

i say this because i think the joy is in the tinkering and the prototyping and the playtesting and the build for small audiences rather than big ones for me. sometimes changes work and sometimes they don't and that's cool and i really like messing up a bunch
