AI can be a useful tool for established scientists and clinicians who already have background knowledge and experience. However its availablity to students is reducing their learning and skill formation and will make them worse doctors and scientists in the long run....
Scientists face a lot of tough questions regarding the role of AI in future research and its potential benefits and detriments.
"A recent study of 26,000 Chinese secondary-school students found that A.I. adoption led to an 18 percent increase in homework scores, but a 20 percent decline in scores on secure exams. "
We need to get a handle on AI ....NOW.

"We now know harmful “forever chemicals” are likely in the bodies of most people on earth. Decades ago, 3M knew that these chemicals had seeped into the public’s blood, but they kept that a secret. One 3M scientist helped reporter Sharon Lerner understand how they kept it quiet for so long."

This is likely why Republicans keep hawking data centers when they're deeply unpopular with actual voters. The money demands they do.

Tossing away our future while adding 1.5 trillion for the military ..pretty soon there will be nothing left to defend. This moron cant be out of office soon enough.
