The Street Fighter movie isn't great but it's definitely fun. Seeing it with friends/fellow fans is great because there's so many moments of fan service you can appreciate/laugh at together. :)

The nicest possible way to say "Republicans are trying to sabotage elections". NPR has always been way WAY too kind to the evils going on in our country.

If you're using the U.S. Postal Service to return a ballot close to Election Day, officials recommend getting it postmarked at a post office to avoid getting caught up in mail processing changes. n.pr/4AXBftW

I always enjoy working with Ryan: he's smart, calm, consistent, and a hard worker. I know this economy sucks but he's a good hire.

I left my first service provider (from 1998!) after they realized how much traffic the site was doing. This second service provider has been better, but eventually cracked down in 2022. YouTube is probably better but hey everything here works again!

Game-correct animated GIFs for Marvel! Bluesky dithers the fuck out of this, but the source is game-perfect sprites. The palettes are the exact game palettes, which means you can replace them easily with normal game palettes (or any palmod of those palettes). \o/ Link to GIF set in comments.

A nearby storm took out a few trees near a stream. This was good news for local beavers: we now have eight beavers chowing down each morning. I am now getting up before dawn for our daily beaver patrol. I've seen beavers nearly every day this year: their small crunching sounds are great.

We'd been on such a beautiful upward tick in the country: it's disappointing to see such a drastic downward slide upcoming. Hopefully the veneer wears thin quickly and we can get things moving forward again in 2026/2028.

You are up to date.
