AI psychosis? No thank you. I don’t need some piece of commercial software to convince me I’m God, I’m plenty capable of reaching that conclusion on my own, thanks.
One of my more important discoveries in terms of planning my daily routine: There's very little correlation between how many hours I sleep and how difficult it is to get up when the alarm goes off. Getting 10 hours of sleep instead of 8 doesn't make it any easier to force myself out of bed.
lately I've been kind of obsessed with the idea of myself as the high school kid I never actually got to be
it's kind of a bittersweet one, as daydreams go
as a compromise with the people worried about "men who pretend to be trans," men who enter the women's restrooms should be punished by being forced to take estrogen.
When I'm sitting in a chair, and someone stands directly behind me, where I can't see them, I immediately go into fight-or-flight mode. Is that normal?
By far the most bizarre racists I encounter as a biracial person are the ones who subscribe to some, like...inverse one-drop rule. They think that because I have light skin, that means I should consider myself White® and they get really mad that I consider my black heritage part of my identity.

If you're worried about the state of the world, it's imperative to foster children's imaginations. The only way to improve this world is to start by imagining a better one.
At this point anarchy isn't so much a political thing for me as it is an overall lifestyle
A little bit of chaos is good for you and the world will not fall into a war of all against all if we decide that maybe we don't need rigid rules for literally everything
Seriously, just do whatever you want
Remember: US conservatives who rail against "communism" don't actually know what that word means.
Like, not even just "never looked into Marxist theory", but "believes every Eastern Bloc state was literally exactly like Pottsylvania from Rocky and Bullwinkle."
Megacorporations relentlessly pushing AI "assistants" to lure the populace into outsourcing as much of their thinking as possible to a system THEY control is SUCH a good science fiction plot that I'm genuinely mad I didn't think of it before it happened in real life.
