I'm on medical leave, had a heart attack 10 weeks ago. Our teachers union and our democracy are under attack. I'm weak, dizzy as he'll from my meds, and I'm exhausted. But I'm here with my friends and neighbors, er um, I mean "paid protesters."

Had a heart attack 8/1/26. Back to working full time 9/22/26. Have a gig 9/26/26. I'm so tired. But it's good to be back... in whatever capacity I can. Feeling temporary on this planet.

We don’t have to put up with this. Not these policies or these politicians or even this system of politics. It's time for us to chase out corruption and build a politics that actually responds to the people.

This heart attack has affected me so much, my doctor and I are considering permanent disability. This is the first time I've ever been through a medical event where I don't believe I'll recover. Sometimes your life changes in the blink of an eye.

As someone who went through it, I promise you, it was an occupation. Looked and felt like we were being overtaken. I’m still triggered as are SO many of us. I am changed from it, it was absolute terror.

How do his staff members sleep at night? Seriously.
