i watch about 1 anime series every couple years & i have never talked about anime with my co workers. One day unprompted one of them came up to me & says "you've watched One Piece right?" & they acted so shocked when i told them "no". That was the biggest hit to my self esteem I've ever had.

this game really reinvents the formula. it breaks genre conventions. it respects your time. its not like other games. its better than other jrpgs for reasons i can't convey outside of buzzwords. its popular so that means its good unlike all those other things that arent popular.
