We advocate for Qld & Aust law reform to: Improve access to Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD); Widen eligibility criteria for VAD; & Allow Telehealth for VAD. We also aim to provide resources to educate Australians about their legal end of life options.

If we can't tax our gas exports we should do this down under. It'd probably only impact the few people who can buy a PM & his ALP. Then maybe we wouldn't have to kick people off NDIS or ban telehealth for VAD. And maybe we could have no price gouge in medicare & aged care too. Nah. Too hard.

Hannah Ferguson for the PM's seat sounds like a damn fine outlet for their anger then. We need some young Aust progressives to do to Labor what the Teals did to the Liberals.

South Australia's Labor government has openly defied the prime minister's position on telehealth in voluntary assisted dying (VAD), calling for urgent change to a federal law. We don't seem to have a democratic ALP anymore. It seems to be only "do what Albo says". www.abc.net.au/news/2026-09...

abc.net.auNew pressure on PM to allow telehealth for voluntary assisted dyingSouth Australia has become the first state to formally urge the Commonwealth to change a federal law preventing doctors from using telehealth in voluntary assisted dying (VAD).

Speaking of climate change, we should try to end the wars ASAP, not just for humanitarian reasons "Yet, research suggests that military activities account for around 5.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions .... likely an underestimate due to data gaps" Cut AUKUS climatalk.org/2025/09/15/h...

"We have moved into a political landscape where the major parties are trying to lie and deceive voters into voting for lobbyists working for global gas companies and people whose loyalty is to a foreign country." As Alex Fein on Democracy Sausage stated, politicians think we voters are stupid. Nope

"The reason this revolving door politics is so corrosive to our democracy is that it can create the perception that politicians are making decisions for the benefit of corporate interests, including the gas industry, rather than the interests of ordinary Australians." Nailed it. Bill got paid Sat.

“Voters want solutions, and they want change. As this column has previously noted, they are so fed up with the two major parties that they are willing to divorce the former from the latter to register their rage.” Albo had two terms & squandered what voters gave ALP. He’s prob going to be punished

Seniors in Aust are doomed. The asset stripping gouge of corporate Aust has their hooks in our aged care system. And Labor oversees this mess and the best they can do is kick people off NDIS - which they could fully fund with a gas export tax. And turn a blind eye to this price gouge. We're doomed

Looks like Woodside's candidate Georgia for the WA by-election in Secret Harbour yesterday lost despite it being an 11.5% Labor seat. One Nation won. Maybe voters are tired of being sold out 👇 No telehealth for VAD No Gas export tax No gambling ad ban No affordable houses Yes AUKUS Yes NDIS cuts

Good news - the VAD laws passed in the NT!! Bad news - amendments to remove the gag clause and the 12-month timeframe were unsuccessful. The bill passed as it was written.

Well done Albo again. The terminally ill wanting VAD can’t get telehealth. And our grandkids can’t have TV without gambling ads. Our ALP at work. For us voters. As usual.

“The government has effectively said that they recognise that #gambling sponsorship is harmful to children and then decided that it can continue for the next five years.” @docsamantha.bsky.social For Albo, harm to children comes a distant second to any threat to wagering industry profits. #auspol

240,000 lost NDIS with AI in charge. Labor voted 24 to nil. 2 Liberals voted yes. 3 One Nation senators voted yes. Greens voted 11 to nil against. 3 cross-bench senators voted no. 18 Liberals were absent. 3 LNP. 3 Nationals. The Coalition would not vote against the Bill. Most would not vote for it.

NT doctors have been told to remain silent about voluntary assisted dying (VAD). The proposed VAD law has a ‘gag clause’ that stops doctor discussions. This is not a safeguard. It is censorship.🤫 Territorians - ask your MLA to remove the damaging ‘gag clause’. www.gogentleaustralia.org.au/nt_vad
