I used to hate drawing people, and especially hate drawing clothing or hair. I loved drawing bodies and musculature though and I think that came from my love of drawing big strong dragons.

my inspirations stem so much from horror but I draw very little actual horror/thriller? Maybe the genre is more popular for games than comics/manga. Maybe thats why Tokyo Ghoul and Beastars were so formative for me? I welcome any suggestions of psychological thriller/horror manga/comics!

The Summer Hikaru Died is also so good. I wonder my prerequisite for horror/thriller stories is that they need emotional depth? If there's just a scary monster then that isn't as interesting, unless one of the main characters themselves is the monster. I like these Frankenstein-type stories!
