UKMTO Comment: Combined transits were 114 outbound and 127 inbound (125 & 129 last week), approximately 70% below pre - conflict levels. AIS observed transits rose to 47 (42 last week) while US - stated facilitated transits were roughly level, about 4:1. 80% of SoH transits remain energy carriers.

UKMTO has received a report of an incident northeast of Khor Fakkan, UAE. A tug travelling southbound has reported being struck by 2 unknown projectiles. The tug has sustained damage but is continuing on its route. One minor casualty has been reported.

A Master of an LNG Tanker has reported being approached by a small skiff with seven persons onboard. The skiff fired two shots at the tanker whose armed Security Team fired 2 warning shots at the small craft which forced them to alter course.
