For my evening robots! Happy listening!! 💕🎧💕

It's here!! New episode of Sci-Fi Snack Stop is up with Landfill, a gorgeous story by @jolantru.bsky.social, read by Hiromi Dames. Working on this episode was so healing and made my whole being calm. Listen wherever you find podcasts and at the SoSF site below. www.sistersofscifi.com/2026/09/24/s...

Part of my healing journey has been rewatching my favorite Predator movies w/ @classicbri.bsky.social Tonight's watch was 2004's Alien vs Predator (my #2 fave) & here is what I've decided- all of the Yautja in it are female. So it's really a femme centered buddy movie. You'll never change my mind.

The new Earth Crew 2042 episode will be coming out next week! Sorry for the delay- I, despite masking everywhere, caught a cold and it has tanked me. But! It'll be worth the wait since it is part 1 of the time travel storyline!

For my evening bluesky-ers!

I just finished recording the last character for the next Earth Crew 2042 episode. Pivoting to voice directing all those years ago was the best decision to date! It is wild to me that I get to work with such talented, funny, kind, smart humans all the time.

A reminder that the fascists surrounding the Black woman in DC in the top picture are the descendants of the fascists yelling at Elizabeth Eckford in Little Rock in the bottom picture. The past isn’t the past. It’s here and now.

The episodes I have lined up for Sci-Fi Snack Stop over the next year are so fucking exciting I can’t stop happy dancing. The idea came after hearing from so many of my writer friends that they felt unheard by publishers. Now this beautiful series exists! 💕

Been recording the next Earth Crew 2042 episode and I keep blissing out. I've been directing for over 2 decades and the level of talent and joy and collaboration with my casts on each episode makes my heart burst. The next 2 episodes are a time travel 2-parter and I love them so much!!

So freaking proud of Nadia!!! Been watching her do the work consistently and with her whole heart for 15 years!!!

Spend a minute and 37 seconds getting a great story into your brain through your ear holes 😍

I don't know how to explain to the people who pop up when creatives complain about "AI" to say there are legit uses for it just how much they sound like someone saying "Well actually fire is used to make bread" when people are talking about an organized arson ring burning down their fucking houses

A snippet from Earth Crew 2042 episode 4. The Empress is trying to hold a professional meeting but her mummies keep undermining her.

This really is it, this is the part that keeps me raging against the machine. Every day of my career I’m shoulder to shoulder with incredible people, pouring their skill & point of view into the work they do, making choices that amaze and delight me. Frame by frame, drawing by drawing…that’s THE job

Not only is this episode absolutely nuts, Romi Dames plays both the Empress and her younger sister! I laughed so much while editing.

To the people complaining these sex abuse cases have created a world where men now have to think 10 times before they touch a woman. Yes, that's the point. It's called consent. Welcome to human decency.

Men. We need to talk. This video is not for women. It’s for men. 62 million hits to “r*pe academy” is sadly part of a horrific pattern of abuse from men. This cannot go on. Make abusive men face accountability. Enough. youtube.com/shorts/CcItm...

No man is a safe space. Not a single one. Our society is trash and raises trash men.

BREAKING: After the ceasefire, Israel today bombed Lebanon and killed another 100 people. Citing the breach Iran has closed the Strait of Hormuz. A reminder that Israel has broken the Gaza ceasefire hundreds of times with impunity and without consequence. And now they breach this ceasefire. 1/2

The exact people who say ‘but you’re alienating half your audience!’ Are making burner accounts to post homophobic sewage on every article talking about Starfleet Academy. Make your art. Not art you think will mean bigots don’t hate you in public

I had such a blast recording my part with @queendomofmab.bsky.social, I strongarmed her into letting me do my “TV announcer” schtick as well. Listen to the full episode to hear more of my impressive vocal range, and enjoy the Homeric exploits of these scrappy space adventurers.

My more nuanced take is FUCK J.K. Rowling. Our trans brothers, sisters, and siblings need our love and support more than we need another Harry Potter. Read and adapt books by better humans. Especially trans ones.

If you stay until the very very end of the music, there’s a little treat in it for you ;) This was a beast to make/edit/sound design/write but I love it and the cast so freaking much. I would happily make Earth Crew episodes for the rest of my life.
