Intro time: Hi, I'm Rachel! I've been making YouTube videos for years; previously focused on guitar 🎸, and now on game dev. I'm an experienced software dev, but just started learning game dev this year! 🎮 I make small game projects and share my journey through devlogs 📽️: youtube.com/@RachelfTech

Just posted a new #devlog sharing my full process making a short horror game in #Godot! This was a really fun project, and I'm quite happy with the final aesthetic! 🎃 #gamedev

Just posted a new #devlog sharing my process making procedural stained glass windows with dynamic lighting in #Godot! Was cool getting to edit some engine code for the first time to enable this effect! #gamedev

Just posted a video sharing everything I made and learned in my first year of #gamedev in #Godot! It's been quite the journey already, and I'm excited to make many more fun things over this next year!

The path is, of course, chocolate-flavored.

Last month, for my first-ever game jam, I made a short narrative-based adventure game about adjusting to life after your partner mysteriously transforms into a worm: rachelftech.itch.io/would-you-st... Super fun experience, just hoping I can figure out how to get a bit more sleep next time! 😅
