TV weather forecasters (led by Jeff Beraradelli & Climate Central) organised the first event to use the warming stripes widely (June 21st 2018). Laura Tobin used them in the UK. And, a Tesla in Minnesota was a striking early example of how the graphic can be used creatively to spark conversations.

The graphics were used at rock concerts (Enter Shikari), sports teams (Reading FC) and at London Fashion Week (Lucy Tammam). Each time they have reached a different audience who would not normally talk about climate change.

It's already #ShowYourStripes day in many places like New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Papua New Guinea. All these countries are warming rapidly. Visit www.ShowYourStripes.info to find your warming stripes with 4 different designs. Start a climate conversation online or with friends and family?

We cannot forget: the Feb 18 EO likewise grants Trump the exclusive ability to rule on the findings of the EPA and Endangered Species Committee. Not only can he demand increased logging, he can overrule ALL findings and protections.

This is uncomfortably like the creation of detention camps for Japanese Americans in WWII. We should not need this much infrastructure if the plans are just deportation.
