Ramón Terrell is writing Path of the Farstrider

For those of you new to me, I’m a film & voice actor from LA, based in Vancouver. (IMDB in bio) I’m also an author primarily of epic fantasy & fantasy humor. I love the outdoors & hiking, & books & video games are my sedentary hobbies that I also love. 🙂👊🏾

Indie game devs, you're wizards. The magic you create is second to none. Never stop being you.

It was yesterday but you can still check out the replay!

We'll see you tomorrow, folks. In the meantime, somebody send @slomobackslap.bsky.social some Castor Oil.😏

Decided to try something new. When my PC boots straight into Steam, this is what happens now. I like it!

Waiting on the hardcover proof but Tofu wanted you to check out the paperback.😁

Today is part 2 of 2 synchronistic career moments that have happened to me over the past couple months. I do believe the universe figured it needed to talk louder to get me to hear. I've heard, so here we go!

Working on book stuff with Zoo show going on in the background. Didn't realize my distraction until my face started to hurt, smiling like a doofus at the sight of two staff providing hydro therapy with a flaming. They even brought in a fully healthy flamingo for moral support. ❤️❤️ I am NOT a sap!

Editing journey: African wildlife on TV. Young male elephant trailing a caravan of bulls to a water hole. He's very thirsty. Walks up to a wall of giants staring at him. He stops. After a stare-down, the lead bull drapes his trunk over little dude's head. This did NOT make me emotional! *sniff*

OP Podcast: Xbox XP, Gears of War Impression, Game Reviewers integrity, Handholding gaming discussion and more Live! www.youtube.com/live/o5zhsn-...

On the latest E2KG episode, @gamelogiq.bsky.social dropped a profound little gem that I one trillion percent agree with. youtube.com/shorts/ySFgl...

I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

Running through the Xbox restructuring on the latest episode of the Enough 2 Keep Going weekly video games podcast.

You find the best deals with indie games and you actually goes to the devs

Collections of studios owned and run by Black People. I'm sure there are some I missed, so please let me know (please double-check that they are owned by black people), and I will add them. Don't just follow them; check out their games. This list is about equity and ownership. go.bsky.app/4wfgP11

Great interview with @timoflegend.bsky.social via BBC News. I understand people who think only AAA games matter. You may not "jive" with what they make but I do believe the industry always needs outside the box creatives like Tim & the team @doublefine.com Especially now! youtu.be/sgQURMiW-WI?...

Pure fun games talk.

Your weekly reminder to please follow and tell your friends and family to follow the prelaunch page of my kickstarter for Path of the Farstrider. We're all going to make this a fun campaign!🙂 www.kickstarter.com/projects/sha...

@gamelogiq.bsky.social I have pre-ordered Galactic racer and I blame you entirely for rhis irresponsible action....

Editing for Path of the Farstrider is coming along well & I anticipate being done in the next several days. Then a tweak and potential prologue and then off to proofers. Hopefully have paper and hardcover proofs in my hands in a week or so. Then on to getting a proof for the special edition!

Wishlisted.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword.

I went to work, got home, did chores, picked up the K-9 Goofball from daycare, and made dinner; like a responsible adult. And now I have no time for Onimusha. *sniff*

Neighbor out for a morning walk.❤️

First editing phase of the day done. Dog walked. Get ready for workout only to see that it's actually a rest day! Soooooo, smoothie and Onimusha time!

I could NEVER work on a nature show. *bee about to be grabbed by a hungry crab spider* *Me, knowing it's the natural cycle of life* "Ayo! DON'T DO THAT! Here!" *reaches in pocket* "Have this here sandwich instead!" *shoves sandwich at bewildered crab spider* See less

Doing edits while awaiting physical edition proofs! Still working on the Kickstarter exclusive hardcover, & I can't WAIT to show it to you. In the meantime, please follow & spread the word. Right now,it's just a prelaunch page but the more followers the better. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sha...

Know what's cool about adobe acrobat?! How you can't rotate and save an image unless you pay for a subscription. Just. To. Rotate. An. Image.

Come hang out with us!

Me when my I fire up Onimusha Way of the Sword and my 4080 Super is producing more frames than my TV can output.

And here it is! Path of the Farstrider. Details coming soon!

When I was a kid I had a huge crush on Dolly Parton. Used to watch all her movies with my mom. We lost a good one.

Here is your first look at Shinobu in the forthcoming Path of the Farstrider.

Gamescom 2026 opening night was great. Nice start, middle dragged, but a FANTASTIC finish. Too much to look forward to. And for me personally, @cdprojektred.com stole the show!

Its taking all the discipline I have not to post the almost finished cover of ky next book, Path of the Farstrider. Folks, it looks AWESOME! Soon!
