I am rawdogging ADHD and being unmedicated time seems to be such an ethereal concept. But I am doing my very best to keep speed with Bugboy development! Round 1 of playtests will land soon! 🐛🔥 #gamedev #indiedev #retrogames #gameboy #pixelart

🥳 Thank you so much for 2000 followers! 🥳 I am pixel nomad, proprietor of Rat Pack Digital. I am developing Bugboy, a Gameboy inspired #pixelart creature-collector. DM me if you want to playtest and feel free to join the Discord! #gamedev #indiedev #screenshotSaturday discord.gg/uGdWWvZcpX

Who wants to test my Gameboy inspired insect autobattler? 😁 Like fr: DM me #screenshotSaturday #indiedev #gamedev

I am considering changing up the catch mechanics of Bugboy. Maybe these bug boxes just aren't it! Perhaps we need something more tied int to the core entomology theme.. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #gameboy

Kenney triggering billionaires is beautiful :)

The little treasure chest is still a classic <3 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

I enjoy creating small UI improvements like these little hotbar shortcuts #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

While we're on the subject of UI: the bug compendium overview probably needs a little work. But it's good enough for now you know. #gamedev #indiedev #UI

Hello all new followers! There's quite a few bots and AI operated accounts among you, but I welcome all the real ones! I am developing Bugboy and you can wishlist it on Steam! store.steampowered.com/app/3095130/... #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

While this screenshot is quite old I still really like it. Starting to get some nostalgia for my own project. That should tell you how long it has been in development 😭 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

There's been a huge influx of new people. Please tell me, how did you all find me? Where did you come from?

I spent the last 2 months overhauling my game's infrastructure. Core systems, etc. Eliminating all the tedious boilerplate stuff. And now... I'm largely done with that. It's time to add the content. Enemies, abilities, puzzles, dungeons, etc. I'm excited but also nervous... #gamedev #MayGame

Animation is so much work for #gamedev! #indiedev #pixelart

One of the main things I am working on is new UI. Out of curiosity, how does the bug compendium UI look. Good enough for now? #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Leveling up and post-battle rewards will be thoroughly explored but I am trying to get the core gameplay loop within combat nailed down first! 🤓 #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Playtests are open and ongoing if anyone is interested :)
