Ouch! I just noticed my automation didn't include the links. Let me share at least the 25% discount code in case you are not on LinkedIn and can not access the video: LeiKoopmansDiscount 😊

Recently, I've been using Google's AI search in a new way that I think is worth sharing. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering who said something on social media. The search tools provided by social media platforms are pretty limited, and I'm finding Google very helpful. Here's a screenshot

Have you ever wondered what location a geocoder returns when you search for a street number that doesn't actually exist, but falls within a known address range? At some point, the system has to estimate where that address would be.

Have you ever wondered what location a geocoder returns when you search for a street number that doesn't actually exist, but falls within a known address range? At some point, the system has to estimate where that address would be.

The latest ArcGIS Geocoding Service update is the new "interpolatePointAddress" parameter. Instead of falling back to a street-level approximation, it can interpolate between neighboring point addresses to return a much more accurate location when a rooftop address doesn't exist.

And if you're curious about why a particular candidate was matched, combine it with "returnMatchNarrative". It exposes detailed information about how every component of the input address was interpreted, which is incredibly useful for debugging or building better geocoding workflows.

On each package page, the call graph is tinted by test coverage: functions green where tests reach them, red where they don't. That needs the package to have tests. covr measures your own coverage; here you can see it for other packages too. r-observatory.thecoatlessprofessor.com/packages/Rcp...

Most developers assume AI orchestration belongs on the server, and that assumption makes sense for many systems. But what happens when the application's state already lives in the browser? 🤔 This post explains why our JS SDK team made that decision 😍

Heading to the Esri R&D center in Barcelona to meet with the rest of my folks 🥳. There, I'll repeat my "AI-infused development patterns - Lessons learned by Esri Engineers" talk, meet with our CTO of developer products, the new R&D manager, and my beloved friend John Vila 😍

Coming soon (hopefully), the localized version of the technical communities directory 😃

Community Builders@communitybuilders.bsky.social

Hemos hecho un "major update" del directorio de comunidades técnicas 🚀😃 Ahora también puedes filtrar comunidades por temáticas y por público objetivo. Aún estamos revisando manualmente el etiquetado, y buscamos vuestra ayuda 😊

Ready for the Esri Developer and Technology Summit in the sunny Palm Springs 😎🌴, California 🇺🇸 ! This year I'll be presenting at 3 tech sessions about: 1) Developing with AI Coding Agents 2) Beautiful maps making 3) Geospatial data services More pictures coming soon 😄 (now...a ~24h trip 😅😅)
