Fielding questions re: this article w/bizarre factual errors. First, there's no "Montecito County" in CA. Second, 2 fires are actually in *Monterey,* & 3rd in *Mendocino*. Third, 60k ac have *not* burned in either fictional Montecito nor real Mendocino.🤨

latimes.comThree Montecito County fires near Big Sur have burned nearly 60,000 acresIn Mendocino County, the total area burned by three fires grew to nearly 60,000 acres on Saturday.

The thing is, it’s not just their problem.

Can't you respect the agency and choices of your neighbor *while* evangelizing? Now, if you as an evangelist don't take no for an answer, and *especially* if you want to actually enact violence on people and groups for the sake of "evangelism," I believe that's your problem, and a problem it is.

You’d think there’d be a photo, video, something of this famously self-promoting person doing these noteworthy deeds.

Trump claims he was basically lifted out of the rubble on 9/11: "Two fireman, big strong guys, they grabbed me under the arms -- 'got to get our of here!' -- and they literally lifted me up, and they started running with me."

It took eight years, but I finally nailed my oven’s exact time and temp for an objectively perfect baked potato. I wanted to celebrate the occasion by having cake, but I had just made the potato. So I ate the potato. It was fine, I guess.

look, "buying used copies to read to my children" is nice, in theory. but if you're willing to put your blinders on to purchase a terrible book series for your children, we both know you're not going to stop there. in 3 months they'll be watching the show and in 6 they'll be at Harry Potter Land.

No doubt I’ve taken a bot’s bait more times than I’d maybe want to know. But the people who seemingly take the bait EVERY SINGLE TIME drive me up the wall of the Sistine Chapel until I get to The Famous Finger and feel the vain hope that I might impale myself upon It (figuratively)* *probably

You may think you’ve never heard of the acclaimed British playwright, Jez Butterworth. However, his raucously funny, as well as violent and shocking plays, have won Tony and Olivier nominations and awards. Read more in Eugene Weekly.

THEY WILL KILL YOU is a movie largely inspired by movies that were inspired by movies made in the 90s that were in turn inspired by movies made in the 70s. Beatz was good, so there was at least that silver lining.

Excuse me, waiter—I ordered locusts.

www.rawstory.com/trump-ufc-26... According to a forecast from The Weather Channel, UFC Freedom 250 is walking into a near-biblical mess on Sunday. White House South Lawn may have to contend with one thing his administration can't bully into submission: mosquitoes.

fuck sam altman forever for taking away the last places where we could engage in good faith: the creative arts, which should be a testament to human ingenuity. i am so mad that everything i read or listen to or admire is now tainted with doubt. do you understand? he is a thief of joy and i HATE HIM

Night 2 of #Wrestlemania better than Night 1, but quite a low bar. Main event saved it. But I find myself with zero curiosity regarding what happens next. I can only imagine what a shitshow next year’s will be, presuming that nothing will be learned from this.

I know it sometimes feels like all we can do is dunk on these assholes. But dunking on them for not killing more people today is a weird choice on the part of the presumed Good Guys.
