So I can finally talk about this. The TLDR is: Cathy and I have bought a house together. I wanted to have keys in hand and a good look around the new place before I said anything.

I had a dream about my previous job (the one where I was abused) but I was the manager. It was a normal but busy day and my employees were working hard and having fun. The customers all seemed really happy too.

I was stopped by the mother of an employee who wanted to thank me personally as their son had been really struggling with adulthood and having a safe and happy work environment had given them the confidence they needed to work hard in their studies as well. I only wish I could make this a reality.

CEO Dan Clancy says Twitch now uses AI to identify streamers that may not match a brand, since it now transcribes all streams for brand safety. It won't show ads on channels or content the AI believes don't match what the advertiser is trying to achieve.

In potentially happier news. One of the many things I've been excited about is the "Road Trip: Ford" DLC for @scssoft.com's American truck Simulator. I can think of no better excuse to shake off the various rust/cobwebs than to attempt a stream later.

2. Selaco I am once again telling you to play Selaco, it is one of the best out of all the oldschool FPS games you could possibly play, it's just phenomenal. The developers have put so much effort into making the game world so reactive to the moment to moment firefights, it's like a John Woo movie.

This popped into my head and always makes me smile. "I before E except after C? How weird!" For those that may not know, it's a sort of ( hopefully defunct) rhyme to help with spelling in English. Except of course as demonstrated it doesn't really work.

Semi-related to my immersion break. Today I'd like to unveil the most powerful weapon in my arsenal. Recap there's: "Oblivion" my Scythe and "The Lesson" my sword. The most dangerous thing of course is that this particular weapon not only can but should be welded by all:

I know various laws don't allow this but, a fun little blog post about how you were going to do X% but are now going to do Y% should be fine. You could always try to do it anyways and when the cops come (yes I know not that kinda crime) tell them Reaper says "Choo Choo MFers.".

It might just be an English language thing, but do you ever use a word that you think you made up because you couldn't get the word you were looking for. So you look it up to see if it's a word and it turns out it is. The word in question is "Disclude" which so far as I can tell is actually a word.

I say as far as I can tell because I attempted to verify it with the Oxford English dictionary but you have to pay a subscription, to look up a freaking word... Anyway, that's going to be my "word for a while"

Oh and yes if you're wondering "excluded" was the word I wanted and would certainly be used commonly regardless. I knew I wanted the opposite of "included" and adding "dis-" would at least convey the meaning I was aiming for.
