So the people we pay to run the country are going into the bar we pay for, and while supposedly running the country are getting so drunk that they need saving by the NHS, that we pay for. And people on benefits are the problem with the country.

I bought Star Trek: Resurgence in a Steam sale maybe a year or two ago and kinda forgot about it. I decided to play it today and it's easily becoming my favourite #StarTrek game ever. It's kept me playing until near-midnight; it's like being in an extended, interactive Star Trek episode.

If you can find some... yarr-harr matey ways to play this game, though, you should do so. I've not finished it yet but I think I'm pretty close to the end now, and it's been a brilliant experience as a Star Trek fan. I'd watch a show with this cast of characters!

You swap between two characters during the game; the first officer of USS Resolute, and a petty officer engineer on the same ship. Between the two stories you piece together a story and eventually they merge together. The characters are all great, and some of the choices are difficult.

The ship has only been in combat once, and you were making decisions on the bridge rather than directly doing pew-pews yourself all actiony. There's intrigue, exploration, occasional laughs, some call-backs, and the most Star Trekky gameplay I've ever experienced. It captures the format perfectly.

Which is why I'm so sad that the only reason I remembered I owned this game was because I heard it had been pulled from sale. I'd have recommended this to a Star Trek fan in an instant, and now it's no longer on sale because of capitalism.

I've played basically all Star Trek games over the years, and I think the (ex-)Traveller's Tales model works best of all of them. There are phaser shooting elements, but for the most part it's been about being diplomatic, solving technical problems, and exploring.

I'mma grab my Game Gear, head out into the beautiful bank holiday weekend sun, do some daytime drinking, and try to get past frickin' Jungle Zone on Sonic the Hedgehog.

It was also extra-heart-warming to learn that the protagonist (prodogonist?) was based on the developer's real, sadly deceased, doggo, who now gets to live forever in this lovely little game.

I just finished it (turns out I wasn't far from the end when I stopped). I don't remember the last time a game made me cry that much.

I picked up My Little Puppy during the last Steam sale (it reminded me of Stray but with doggos) and finally got around to playing it. I LOVE it. I love the art style, the quirky characters, the varied gameplay, and the absolute emotional rollercoaster it's taken me on. It's phenomenal!

I'm gonna keep reposting this because I think My Little Puppy needs so much more attention than it's had.

Huge congratulations to Hungary for their victory over Orban today. I'm friends with a Hungarian and she's helped me realise just how meaningful this victory is to so many of them. "I feel proud to be Hungarian again" were her words, and having been on the journey with her I felt those words.

I did it! Finally! Every single shelf full, every single book unique! Biggest library in all of Skyrim! Bite me, Urag! I even stole some of them from your library and you didn't even notice! #Skyrim

My #Skyrim book collection is coming along nicely. Only a few more shelves to fill, though trying to remember which books I still need while out and about is becoming increasingly difficult! Urag gro-Shub, eat your heart out!

Unfortunately I've found several *more* unique books that won't fit, and I know I'm missing some titles from a few multi-part collections, so I guess now I have to try to fill this spare bookcase in another room instead...
