Fuck the reflecting pool. This has not gotten nearly enough coverage or generated the proper outrage. People thrown in prison for 30-50 years for the "crime" ofmaking zines and belonging to a book club!! This is straight-up totalitarian atrocity. Political prisoners thrown in a gulag to rot.

this is going around as people finger wag about optics and peaceful protests and i just want to note that the cop here - john pike - received retirement, 8mos of suspended leave pay, and $38k for the pain and suffering of macing kids the students received $6k-30k, most at the lower end
