Average at best. A little consideration goes a long way.

I feel I am entering my max dad stage. I think we can have a dog. I have yard shoes. My weekend plans are centered around taking the kids into the crawl space to try and crank the leveling jacks we somewhat haphazardly now have under the house… and I’m unapologetically excited about all of it.

If anyone wants a play by play for Saturday crawl space activities I will oblige. Last Saturday I tried to have my kids hold up a wrench that’s over 10lbs while I did my best I’ve league rower pull. Progress uncertain.

Everyone who pre-orders shrimp city shirt will get a free shrimp temporary tattoo 😘 These shirts are how we’re funding our fall mural series - 3 murals created by Philly women & gender non-conforming artists, about our city’s most charasmatic bugs! We’re almost 20% funded! SquidFacts.net

I have not read any fiction in a long time. The Children of Time series is soooooo so good. I am so ready to read more of what Adrian Tchaikovsky has to offer. #booksky #scifi #fantasy

I can’t express how big of a disappointment it is for me that Sam Harris did a lot of good for me to be a rational thinker. He now seems to not be using the tools I thought he gave me.

The decline of trust in professionals and institutions is what the marketplace of ideas has brought us. The ideals of Holmes, Locke, and most of all Rawls’s original position have not born fruit. Turns out Sagan’s foreboding and Asimov’s perception of a cult of ignorance have overtaken rationality.

Can’t believe the whole country has to suffer through the return of Dickensian childhood diseases because the worst, most ignorant attention-demanders decided other people’s expertise makes them feel bad
