I’m ok. Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement. For ten years, Trump has targeted me with baseless lies and smear campaigns. This is just the latest escalation in his campaign of political intimidation. I will not be silenced.

Ban Flock cameras. Ban Axon cameras. Ban Motorola cameras. Ban ALL automatic license plate readers. That was our message to the Senate today. The American people agree that it's time for Congress to take immediate action.

Yep. There are areas of our country that are completely captive by these damn things.

"A typical 15-minute commute was projected to pass roughly 30 cameras. An alternate “privacy route” took nearly twice as long and still passed two known cameras." So a camera every every 30 secs in the ATL? Sounds about right. www.wsbtv.com/news/local/f... #Flock #AI #Surveillance

The NINA deep dive is going well. As predicted, the sequencer is vital to the success of your imaging session. So I will be spending even more time learning about the sequencer and how to utilize it fully. More updates to follow. #Astronomy

Took the new SAL-33 out last night for a test session. The guide numbers were amazing. Well worth the wait. I still need to learn more about NINA before I'm 100% comfortable with it. But it's only a matter of time. 🙂

My new telescope mount will be arriving tomorrow. That means it's time to learn N.I.N.A. and OnStepX. I have heard it's a bit of a mess. But both are very capable once everything is dialed in. If any of you have any tips, let me know. The new mount is the MLAstro SAL-33.

25 years ago, terrorists killed nearly 3,000 people, including 2,753 New Yorkers. As we remember that terrible day, let us also remember the first responders, office workers and strangers who ran toward danger to help each other.

Flock takes their privacy very seriously. But the ethical gray area in surveillance technology works both ways. Under no circumstances should elected officials or public servants enjoy an expectation of privacy when spending tax dollars to attend a surveillance lobbying event.

During IFT-4 I was able track an intact SpaceX Starship at engine shutdown from Florida for the first time. I recently learned how to do flat field calibration within DaVinci Resolve. I reprocessed the footage and even found additional frames of Starship, here it is at 50% speed.

The LAPD has stopped working with Flock. The police halted the use of Flock AI license plate surveillance cameras, as government officials cite concerns over data privacy. Organizers are demanding the LAPD not find a replacement for Flock, and instead permanently stop the use of these cameras.

This was the result from a test with the CPC EdgeHD. First time ever guiding with an OAG + the Player One 585M. First time using the 0.7x reducer. Sadly, I got screwed over by dew. I had my heaters on full blast and they could only clear half of my corrector plate. 🫤 60 second x 100 frames

I love this narrative. They imagine the left as overly fanatical about Biden as they are about Trump. In reality, I can criticize Biden and there's a lot I didn't like about the guy. But I wonder if you can do the same to Trump when he launches an illegal and offensive war that costs YOU money.

Funny how as soon as gas temporarily spikes due to a war, the left melts down, but they were ok with Biden intentionally raising gas prices.

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all

Trump needs to be impeached, removed and arrested. Not only is he committing war crimes on a daily basis he's casually announcing his intent to commit more war crimes on social media, like it's nothing. When will people wake the fuck up and put up a fight against this vile terrorist mutant.

My telescope just got its next upgrade. The HD Wedge allows my telescope to run in EQ mode, which is needed for deep sky astrography. Unfortunately, the weather will now decide to be awful for the next 3 months straight because that's how these things go. 🙃

The war in Iran has already cost $22.8 billion. For $22.8 billion, we could: • Provide Medicaid to 6.8 million kids • Build 2.6 million public housing units • Fund Head Start for 1.3 million • Hire 240,000 teachers • Cancel $20,000 in student debt for 1 million borrowers

I was proud to stand with @sanders.senate.gov & endorse candidates who stood against war, against big money, and for justice. I lost twice before I won, including an anti-Iraq war campaign, and Bernie lost 4 times before he won. In the long run, principles matter.

Wealth inequality has never been so bad. While 60% live paycheck to paycheck, 938 billionaires got $1.5T richer in 2025. Justice Brandeis was right: "We can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both."

Blocking me shows a lack of confidence in your position. But regardless... You seem to be unaware that women can also be asshole misogynists. So to only acknowledge male participation in such depravity, as she did with the Epstein file cover-up, you highlight your bigotry & hers. Congratulations!

When someone has to misrepresent their opponent’s position, it says more about them than it does about their opponent. It suggests they are unwilling, or unable, to engage with the actual position while finding such laziness acceptable.
