On top of my switch to Fedora, I also swapped to Zen from Chrome... and I see with the update that got applied to my system today, they've fixed not only the big issue permanently but also the frustration that was the side bar the last week or two.

I prefer my slop to be handmade by humans, thanks.

I have just discovered the greatest feature on my distro install - if I wiggle the mouse, the cursor gets bigger. And it keeps growing until I stop wiggling the mouse. A great feature for someone who constantly loses their pointer and totally has absolutely perfect eyesight (or so they tell me).

My experiment w/ Linux is going well. Fedora is installed on its own drive and the main games I want to play are running near flawlessly on it. I might be ready to make the switch 95% of the time, only booting to Windows for things that 100% still need it. So all I need is another SSD for Linux.

I'm getting tired of Windows, so I started the process of moving to Fedora last night. ... except I have to wait for my new phone to show up because my last one is dead and I need access to my authenticators for all my logins. Sigh. Security is really an inconvenience when something break.

Man, my municipal candidates are all so similar... except for the few that don't want anything to do with BRT and want to focus on cars instead. Yeah, not voting for them. I live in one of the largest countries in the world... and I still believe that we should reduce personal reliance on driving.

Why yes, I will celebrate success, progress, and forward movement (where it's warranted). That does not stop me from also pointing out (possibly aggressively so) places where there's still improvements to make.
