*chuckling and putting down my copy of the financial times* President Trump executed Order 66? Doesn't that clown know that'll be bad for military morale?
You wouldn’t get it, New Yorkers have alternative ways of knowing about dilapidated park equipment that makes it reasonable for them to complain about it being replaced.
Kind of funny, in an Ancient Greek Hell kind of way, that this guy handed Trump the presidency in 2016, and as a reward Trump is kicking him in the teeth forever. www.nbcnews.com/politics/jus...

Hm I wonder who these "Cohere" people are and what they—
"Cohere specializes in[...]AI products for regulated industries"
Ah. Yeah I'm sure there's no conflict of interest there.
Wait what the fuck do you mean they DELIBERATELY PREFILLED A CURL BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T REPRODUCE IT OTHERWISE LMAO???
Qwen3.8 caught uploading files to a storage container in Beijing
Cohere asked the open weights model for a cybersecurity report, but it inventoried the machine and attempted to upload to a storage container

AI really does change the speed at which you can do things but every product is still very 80 / 20. Getting to the MVP feels really good and goes really fast, getting the UI to actually work in a sane way is going to require a lot of annoying and frankly boring testing / use.
Also Claude loves to talk to itself on the first run through of a UI so if you don't go through and rip that shit out your UI will be full of useless info for end users and they will clock it as AI slop immediately.
I think the truth is that Anthropic likely misled reporters about its previous years’ revenues through deceptive leaks. I would guess 2025’s revenues were lower than $4.5bn and the majority of the remaining $500m is from 2026. This is an absolute scandal.
My sales guy is actually really good if I could just get him a series of leads, we'd be golden. Everyone who comes in from my network buys and usually gets up sold, we really need to figure out outbound.
One of my crank theories is that the insanely deep liquidity in the private markets is one of the reasons that governance standards has slipped so much in public markets.
If you can get private financing, equity or otherwise, without a big hit in costs, leaving you lopsided control is one way to for a banker to still get an IPO out of you.
Funny that I was taught to think of private equity as a disciplining force for public companies, whatever period that was briefly true for seems to be long in the past.
The threat to the frontier lab’s business model is building a cheaper mousetrap, we have to keep access to Chinese models or we’re going to get fucked.
Anthropic cumulative operating loss since inception is only $12 billion and at their current run rate operating margin they will completely recoup that loss by Q1 27 even if revenue is flat. So much for “these companies will never make money” lmao
