The #dnd games BioWare gave us brought Faerûn to life with so much heart, depth, and unforgettable storytelling. The first two Baldur’s Gate games are universally regarded as masterpieces and are widely credited with revitalizing the cRPG genre in the late 1990s/early 2000s.

A silver lining is that EA didn't get to bury the Baldur's Gate IP, and that went on to be a huge success for a worthy studio in Larian. Huge shame to see BioWare fall. BG2 was a banger. DA:O too. Hell I even liked parts of DA2.
