at the end of the day, the point of the game is to win and you win by making better decisions than your opponent more often. if you're aiming for a certain playstyle, you're getting in the way of winning since you're trying to lock yourself into certain decisions regardless of how good they are

So I’m sure a lot of you are wondering what in the world splatbooks.ink actually is. Let me explain the reasoning behind making this, how it can be useful for the scene as a whole, and how you can support me in this project. My hope is for the whole comp scene to benefit from this, for any role.

Pearl & Marina were originally based on rap-duo “Outkast”. The two met with Nintendo over the usage of their likeness, but the meeting ended abruptly due to a "bad fishing pun". André 3000 later stated in an interview “they wanted to call us ‘The Out-Casts.’ It made me sick.”

I enjoy how the premise of "Cain" is like "our psychic murder children could turn into scary monsters at any time and must be strictly controlled, even snacking between meals or wearing clothes that fit are to be treated as privileges contingent on operational success and good behaviour" [...] (1/2)
