When Trump says the U.S. is “making money like we’ve never made before” off high gas prices, he means HE is making a ton of money off high gas prices. This war is leaving you with less money. It’s leaving Trump with more.

Yet another example of the people in Trump’s orbit rushing to cash in on his presidency. Trump’s former personal lawyer and U.S. attorney for New Jersey secured a $50 million employment deal from the family of a Venezuelan billionaire banker seeking a pardon.

Russia has murdered over 17,000 civilians in Ukraine. They’ve abducted over 20,000 children. Trump and his administration are quick to praise Russia and Putin but never miss an opportunity to criticize Zelenksy and undermine Ukraine’s ability to defend itself. Which side are they on?

Top Trump Aide Steve Witkoff, to Vladimir Putin: "You talk so much about Trump being a humanitarian, you are a humanitarian also, sir. I salute you, and I commend you."

Trump announces "fraud whistleblower incentive program" -- "Americans will now be able to go to fraud dot gov and report cases of corruption and theft of taxpayer dollars in their communities ... if you turn somebody in and you find $1 billion, we're giving a commission of 1%. That's a lot of money"

This administration thinks so little of the American people. They start a senseless war that sends farmers’ diesel prices soaring, and then pretend to rescue them from the prices they drove up. American farmers are not stupid.

I just want to remind people what nearly two years of Trump’s presidency—with Republicans controlling Congress and backing him every step of the way—have brought us: Sweeping tariffs costing households more than $1,000 a year.

The last two years have been a disaster. Americans wanted a Congress and President focused on lowering their costs. Instead, they got a Republican Congress that rubber-stamped Trump’s reckless decisions and corruption every step of the way.

A law that is kicking millions of Americans off their health care while giving tax breaks to the wealthy. Millions of taxpayer dollars spent renovating the White House to Trump’s personal liking. Trump’s estimated fortune growing by billions while families struggled with rising costs.

This whole administration is unbelievably corrupt. Trump’s former personal lawyer allegedly sought to buy Trump’s favor through a $5.6 million Kennedy Center donation intended to protect her husband’s business interests in Venezuela.

Then, last week, she stormed into the Oval Office, exasperated, claiming that the Trump appointee who arranged the payment had directed the money to a defense contractor he had previously worked for instead.

I’m heartbroken by the shooting at an elementary school in Oregon that killed three children and a teacher and wounded others. My prayers are with the victims’ families, the students, and the entire Bend community.

These shootings are far too common. It is long past time for Republicans in Congress to join Democrats and pass commonsense gun reform legislation to help prevent these tragedies and protect our children. No family should have to endure this heartbreak.

New documents have revealed the donors to Trump’s ballroom. Tens of millions of dollars came from big tech and artificial intelligence companies—the very companies that stand to benefit from Trump’s reckless push to block AI regulation.

Wholesale inflation—which tracks prices businesses pay before they reach consumers—hit 6.3% in September, its highest level in nearly four years. This suggests Trump’s war is driving up energy costs for businesses, and those costs are soon likely to get passed on to you.

Shockingly, it turns out the American people don’t want their President to spend his time enriching himself, his family, and his billionaire donors while kicking millions off health care—and not just do nothing about high prices, but actively cause prices to go up. Who would have thought!

75% of Americans think President Trump has prioritized his business interests over the country since taking office in 2025, according to a new poll. Americans want to know if Trump and his family are profiting off the Presidency. Democrats are determined to find out.

Just days ago, Trump eased sanctions on Russian diesel and claimed Russia agreed to stop attacking energy infrastructure. After Russia’s massive attacks on Ukraine’s energy facilities last night, it’s clear they took Trump’s money and ran. What a weak, weak President.

abcnews.com600,000 without power in Ukraine as Russia launches 'massive' attack amid Trump's 'energy ceasefire'At least 600,000 people were without power early on Wednesday in Ukraine, after Russia launched an aerial attack that struck energy infrastructure, Zelenskyy said.

What a mistake. Trump’s decision to ease sanctions on Russian diesel will do little to lower U.S. fuel prices but a lot to fund Russia’s war against our ally Ukraine. The simplest way to bring prices down is to end the war with Iran once and for all.

cnbc.comTrump's diesel deal with Russia equals less than two weeks of U.S. demandPresident Donald Trump's diesel deal with Russia comes as he is under pressure to reduce fuel prices with the U.S. midterm elections less than a month way.

If only Trump showed as much passion for ending the war and lowering costs as he does for his ballroom and helipad.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "Does anybody want to see a great work of art, a great thing of beauty? The helipad. It's gotten unbelievable architecture reviews. But that's nothing compared to what's being built right there. The roof of the ballroom."

Understand what this means: Trump knows the war is causing prices to rise, he’s afraid voters will punish him in the midterms if they rise further, so instead, he’s waiting until after the election to double down on his war.

Three years ago today, Hamas carried out the deadliest attack in Israel’s history, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 more hostage. This heinous attack inflicted profound pain on Jewish communities in Israel and around the world.

The innocent people whose lives were shattered on that day—and all of the far too many innocent people whose lives have been shattered on far too many days during this conflict—deserved to live their lives with security and dignity.

I have no idea what Trump meant by “Let them take out Los Angeles,” but I do know this: his argument that high gas prices are a “small price to pay” to prevent Iran from having a nuclear weapon is complete nonsense.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com

Trump: "With the war, it's just artificial. It's a little bit high. It's a small price to pay ... let them take out Los Angeles, let them take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay."

Iran didn’t have a nuclear weapon under the previous deal negotiated by Obama. We didn’t have high gas prices. Our military bases weren’t under bombardment. We weren’t running out of critical munitions.

Those things are all a result of Trump tearing up that deal and choosing instead to start a war—a war that has already cost taxpayers nearly fifty billion dollars, with Americans paying even more at the pump. Trump will keep using the “small price to pay” line. Don’t fall for it.

Absolutely no surprise that the President who was found liable for sexual abuse by a federal jury says he “feels badly” for the men being investigated by the NY Attorney General in the Cornell rape case. Despicable.

Trump defends the men in the Cornell gang rape case, saying he “feels bad” for them and they won't get a “fair shake”

My thoughts are with everyone affected by this morning’s crash on I-95 over Lake Marion. Our amazing first responders acted swiftly, rescued those trapped, cared for the injured, and kept other motorists safe. I hope all those injured make a full and speedy recovery.
