Showed up 8 minutes before the start of Wildwood and there wasn't another soul in the theater. I had to double check I hadn't slid into the backrooms by mistake. There's three others here now so no epic liminal shenanigans for me.

The chili came out "fine", as in not offensive and chili flavored. The lentils did a great job of giving it good texture, but as usual, I failed to season it enough. It's chili-flavored, but not nearly enough, and not nearly enough heat. Lessons learned.

This can't be stressed enough. Everything, and I mean ev-ery-thing they have been doing has been performative. All the hype, all the doom drumming, all the "ex-employee" drama, all of it is to create an illusion of value that They. Cannot. Produce. And. Won't. Produce. For. Decades. If ever.
