Feel like I've seen a fair few people lately be all "Sure, AI bros are psycho and the industry is out of control... but the tech is actually mind-blowing" and unironically link a video to, like, a biped robot taking five minutes failing to move a soda can across a room like it's cutting-edge stuff.

There a word for this? It feels like a kind of secondary form of AI psychosis, where people who are broadly anti-AI as an industry, and you'd think would know better, still manage to delude themselves into thinking the most unimpressive stuff is world-bending hyper-tech.
