Ship tracking website MarineTraffic appears to show no vessels currently crossing the Strait of Hormuz, although many seem to be anchored around the Gulf, BBC reported. Some marine traffic had moved through the strait, but slowed dramatically as Tehran announced that it would close the waterway.
