The U.S. women's team is still extremely good. However, gymnastics is so MUCH more interesting now that they aren't the default champions time and again.

I've been smiling for 24 hours straight. Skye Blakely is a tremendous, resilient athlete, and she is so deserving of being the all-around world champion, and now the bronze medal winner on vault and bars.

Hey, do you lead a clinic or practice in the area of child law? Would you be interested in working in a vibrant city and an amazing law school with wonderful faculty, students, and staff? Come be my colleague!
"Here in Minnesota, . . . . We’ve protected abortion rights, made historic investments in child care and written protections for transgender Minnesotans into our Human Rights Act. But laws can be repealed. That’s why we won’t stop until equality is written into the Minnesota Constitution. . . ."
"I never imagined spending my late 40s fighting for rights women won before I was born," Megan Peterson writes.
"The president said the task force would meet later in the afternoon. It will be chaired by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Susie Wiles, the White House chief of staff, who was recently treated for breast cancer."
"What we’ve found is that all these worries, these fears, these uncertainties mean nothing to a team of magnificent stallions galloping along the dust-strewn plains."
I didn't "know" Judith, but she sat at my table during my admitted students’ luncheon, and I remember her being sharp and funny.

Massive outbreaks and death aren't the only fallout from anti-vaxxers' rhetoric. Now they're going after the doctors who treat measles patients, reporting them to the state medical board. Thrilled to team up with @walkerbragman.bsky.social on this one! www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...
As I've written in the @nycpolicyforum.bsky.social, NYC should offer financial compensation to private property owners to open toilets to the public, building off of the city's strategic plan (Law 58). Cities rely on owners to carry out the functions of government, and they should be compensated.

I didn't realize Flowers was a judge now. He comes up every year in my Public Health Law course because he argued against OSHA's temporary emergency standard for workplaces (requiring either COVID vaccination OR testing and masking) while sick with COVID. He had to give his argument virtually.

"Corporate law, although always far from perfect, was supposed to ensure that the titans of industry acted lawfully and in the best interests of not only the stockholders, but their companies. Now, it seems, Delaware has opted for backsliding."
Hear, hear. As Kate Jackson has argued, it's pretty easy to see recent developments in corporate law as continuous with democratic backsliding:
