Don't worry, Flavio! Your future is guaranteed by Donald J. Trump! That's a bet no one has ever come to regret!

I think this kind of messes up her message. She gets points for successfully securing benefits for Maine in the Senate but this comes off as saying people from Maine with Maine values are not equipped for the Senate.

FINAL STRETCH: A new Susan Collins campaign ad includes this line on Troy Jackson: “I also know Troy Jackson. But we're not talking about buying a cord of wood here. We're sending someone to the US Senate, and Troy doesn't have the tools he needs to be effective.”

TRUMP SAYS THE U.S. SENATE IS LETTING THE DAYLIGHT SAVING BILL DIE WHEN A VAST MAJORITY OF THE COUNTRY WANTS IT, SAYING MOST PEOPLE ARE DEMANDING LIGHT IN THE EVENING BUT ALL WANT TO STOP CHANGING THEIR CLOCKS, AND URGING THE SENATE TO “TAKE A VOTE” - TRUTH SOCIAL

Just to be clear Hunter blocked me not because of the above post but because I asked if he had any examples of people claiming there would not be an attempt at voter interference by the admin. That is because this type of person does not exist.

This is exactly what the "dismissive" people have been saying though. No one doubts an attempt will be made, but the people hyperventilating think he just says "I declare coup" and the Republic is over. If you point out that their plans probably won't work you are treated as naive.

We already have and example of this in MA. It had no impact on the wealthy moving out of state.

"What happens when you slap a whopping wealth tax on some of the richest people in the world?" Depending on what California voters decide, we may get a clear example of the limits of taxation, @mcmegan.bsky.social writes.

I wasn't going to likely watch it for all of the reasons people have identified, but also it was not clear it was released yet. Have to question a marketing strategy beyond "Musk doesn't want you to see this."

I know this really pales in comparison to much more important things but I think it makes sense to work stuff like this into messaging. The property destruction of national landmarks and tacky replacements was something that very much broke through to people who don't pay attention.
