not gonna share it but that new House Judiciary Dem report is like. how do we not read that and grind everything to a halt. Feels like that would have used to do it; now it's just more background noise, which is depraved

I think we're all probably worse for having to think about these things as much as we have for this long. Can't be good for one's interior to think "yeah everyone in charge of this country is a predator" for this many days in a row

this is called "advertising" and I wish more people could internalize that

The NBA has reached deals with Kalshi and Polymarket to make them the league's preferred prediction markets partners. The companies can now use NBA IP on their platforms, while the NBA gets right of approval on markets that they offer. That and more: www.nytimes.com/athletic/772...

lol particularly when one of Lula's most powerful opponents was Mark fuckin Zuckerberg. the fascist movement is global, a defeat for one is a defeat for all

okay but... the leaders in those other countries actively conspire with ours. the US actively tries to influence these races. Of course we care. we are obligated to care

It's probably really hard to miss the playoffs after starting 6-0. But I am so excited for Kyler Murray and the boys to show us some real innovations in that space

I've said 10-7 this whole time. That still feels spiritually right even now. Ripping off six in a row to start the season maybe has me up at 11-6.

Doomerism--of which I am constantly extremely guilty!--is a lie meant to absolve us from the obligation to fight and organize like we need to. The actual state of things is way more complex, work-intensive, and scary: the outcomes are not yet decided. Gotta keep playing then. womp womp

"augh they're doing a coup, ouugh they shut down Lula's social media presence, oooooof they're trying to suppress votes." He had that dog in him anyway. Brazil had that dog in it. do we?

Reports are saying Jair Bolsonaro had already purchased a customized matching hospital bed for his beloved son Flavio to spend election night in alongside him. “It works both ways. Victory or defeat. Either way, I know where I want to be.”

Rally speaker: "Mike Rogers is an American. Abdul has a birth certificate. The birth certificate says he's a citizen of America. You know what? a birth certificate doesn't make you an American."

Feels like one thing we are learning from this wave of attempted antidemocratic fascist takeovers is that, once they’re in the red zone, the space gets tight. Those are some hard final yards. Back line becomes a defender. Corners can press. Et cetera

In conclusion my dad has been rooting for this stupid team for 60 years and it was fun to go see a win in person with him. Sure would like him to get to see a ring one time.

Very irritating game to see in person lol. D found its feet though. Also they just showed the Nine stat line for the giants. Vibes weird
