And also medical care in general. I remember doing research after the short story I wrote last year and even the survival rate for things like snakebite has increased significantly since I was born. No Tamiflu when I was born. Magic.

Everyone already piling on this, but I want to point out you can always tell what’s going on when the tone is one of entitlement+resentment instead of deep legitimately confused grief. When they talk about how they paid the bills instead of how much they loved and nurtured the child. Every time!

Funny I did not think I was a shitty parent. In fact my daughter became a psychiatrist and allowed me in her life to pay bills all the way through until she finally graduated and then cut me off. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess I'm just a shitty person.
