make no mistake: the storm of social media age restrictions you're seeing being enacted across the US and world are driven by the "protect the children from gender ideology" crowd. when you have to prove to bluesky you're old enough to shitpost about sports, remember who the real targets are.

Age verification for social media is just a backdoor way of silencing progressives and members of disempowered groups. Just watch. Anything fascist meatheads don't like will magically become "pornography," even a link to an AMA report on gender affirming care discrimination in red states.
