Road to re:invent behind the scenes getting ready!

It was so cool (for me) that he played for the Red Sox for a while. www.mlb.com/news/curtis-...

Instead of harping on about AI, what about solving login problems? It's getting annoying to context-switch using biometrics, 90-day re-logins, email auths, MFAs, redirects with the various auth systems, USB touches, to name, ahem, a few.

Came home with a surprise. My son was playing with the new Steam Deck.

Do you know what's keeping me glued onto my phone screen? Face ID that's what. Every other app I go into, Face ID. Every transaction I do, Face ID. To authenticate apps on my Mac, yup, you've guessed it, Face ID.

Using MacOS Stage Manager is clunky… and weird. Is there a good resource somewhere that can teach me how to use this effectively?

wow, looks eerily like my @github.com commits over the years

The art of not hammering right.

Ordered a new shaving brush and it comes with a neat beard rake! Hilarious.

I think I ran a little faster than this guy #running

terraform vs. me. I’m finally winning!

Swapped out the Ring for a eufy system. Much better! When the 30-day free trial ended for Ring, it became functionally hamstrung. I had even asked Ring to remove the free trial so I can test without it, and they said no. Shady.

I cry 😿

My view today. Don’t RTO. Don’t move to Seattle.

Emails sucks to the point where my true 'Inbox' is the 'Junk Mail' folder.

Almost bought boxes of LED recessed lights when I came across specs for current LED lights and found they have a little switch to change them into warm colors! Why was it set to bright and cold in the first place, beats me.

The Developer Success Lab is looking for engineers who work in infrastructure for a research study investigating the working experience of SREs, platform engineers, DevOps engineers, and software developers who maintain or develop infrastructure. forms.gle/YJ1uSmSJHC6Y...

Aww bummer, there’s a London Landmarks Half Marathon going on and I’m not in it! #runnersregrets #nexttime

Waiting at the Whyteleafe South station. The sightseeing tour of London continues on. #PostKubeCon #KubeConEurope

Getting ready for an allyship panel! Lots to cover logistically: Bunch o’ ASL, BSL, and voice interpreters are discussing strategies.

Keynote done and I have had so many people coming up to me afterwards. The #CNCF Community is such a great group! Thanks to @aurelievache.bsky.social for this great meme-able photo. #KubeconEurope #AI #signlanguage

Really cool talk! The challenges of getting machines to recognise signing look HARD to me, but the progress is real 👏👏👏

Keynote prep. Tomorrow! #KubeCon #signlangauge

Geez, in midst of the prep for the KubeCon keynote, the ol' water heater sprung a leak! Gotta get it replaced before I depart for London. #hecticdays

Should be a national holiday today: Opening Day! #MLB #Baseball

So I took Amazon Q with Claude Code 3.7 for a spin over the weekend with a real world use case and it pretty much shines. Let's create an Accounting 101 quiz app for additional practice in understanding accounting concepts. Love the outcome! Featured in ASL and voice. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLmV...

Can anyone at PyPi help me? My school apparently deactivated my old email, and I can’t update to my new one, which is preventing me from updating any packages.

Hilarious answer after I told it off for giving me incorrect @googlesheets.bsky.social step by step instructions. #Gemini

Found a super cool pizza food truck here in the Bay Area. Deaf owned and operated, and you order by signing. And they have a vegan option! 🍕

Around 7:50am there is a blue Prius going into the cul-de-sac where I live turning around and going back. Like clockwork. Is it a city employee or someone looking for an opportunity to commit crime? I might have to camp out there and flag the driver down and ask him WTF.

Switched to Safari and seeing this all the time. What gives?
