There's a reason why the previous games always persist - not just for nostalgia factor, but also because visually they are SO thought-out and beautiful pocket of artistic direction and artistic storytelling! Hyper-realism does nothing for me, I find it mostly a bootlick for ai shit honestly.

It's so funny because I love games like Elden Ring and Bloodborne - but they are JUST regular realism to me! And they HAVE strong art direction! Hyper realism has this sheen of sweat and dew that feels so disingenuous to me? I just can't describe it??? But I hate it!

You can have things based in "realism" a la Twilight Princess or BotW, but they absolutely have their own artistic direction with color palette, shading, shape-language. I don't want to see every blade of grass, I don't want to see every strand of hair, I don't want constant shiny effects.

I'm tired and annoyed of always seeing fat acceptance as a glorification of only softness in our bodies and the "comfort" this provides others. You can celebrate a soft profile and rolls of fat without its qualities being detailed to the inherent comfort it gives you.

There is a self-celebration for softness, that we should hold for ourselves. But for others let that softness be in it's romance, not in it's nurture. Our bodies are not for your milf/dilf fantasy, they are not for your comfort. I am sick of others seeing fatness as a role of caretaker.

It's always about how fat people are "so much better to hug" and "feel softer to hold", it's not celebrating the beauty - just what it provides to you. Fatness is also romantic, robust, beautiful, strong - it has muscle and sinew just as anyone else. It has hardness and jagged edges and darkness.
