Nifty. I bought some blue light/anti glare glasses for computer work (cataract surgery side effect) & they came with a little laser pointer. In blue, of course It feels oddly comforting to be wearing computer glasses again. I now have good near vision & bad far vision, opposite of pre-surgery

I've been down to half my dose for 2 weeks now - a fast taper I can still feel when the interval between doses is too long & there's some other physical effects. They all seem to be lessening I'm also more mentally engaged in both the things I like doing & necessary things I made a good choice

No Magic this week. As an experiment I didn't post in the group chat asking who was going. Neither did anyone else I'm dealing with enough in my med changes I'm not going to put myself in unnecessary stressful situations. Not knowing who will be there is stressful I'll have to go soon to socialize

Got to play Magic after a month gap. A poor sport player was in our pod & played a jank deck (deck w/ unfun style) They were the 1st one killed in each game, sulked, & said they felt targeted No duh. Their deck required us to take them out fast. So we did They won't have learned better from this

Going into week 2 of tapering off the high dose of benzos I've been on for decades. My NP dropped the dose by 1/3 Tbf I've been sporadic about taking the full dose so I kind of pre-gamed the taper on my own So far so good. Some physical symptoms but not enough to concern me It was time to do it

Today was my first day of tapering my anti anxiety meds. I'm supposed to stay on this dose for 2 weeks then drop again The schedule is faster than I expected but I'm able to decide for myself if I feel ready for the next change If all goes well I'll be on half the current dosage within 2 months

This is 2 days in a row where it seems either: I hit "dismiss" instead of "snooze" Or My alarm clock app has decided I have lost the "snooze" privilege This is annoying. Luckily I haven't missed anything but I'll *need* it to work later this week
