I'm tired, boss....
I generally talk about politics and how dumb all the trump things are.
A solid rain is here of the aforementioned hard rain. Darker clouds still coming this way though.
*Oh an sorry about the spelling in advance.*
Does the left understand that many of us can see the REAL impact that dems make?
We see people WE KNOW who had no healthcare and were able to get it thanks to obamacare.
We see people who get their benefits cut and suffer greatly when a republican comes into office and shrinks programs. 1/?
NEW: DSA's National Political Committee passed two resolutions today aimed at Los Angeles mayoral candidate Nithya Raman, beginning processes that could result in DSA-LA being forced to rescind its endorsement of her this weekend and/or Raman herself being expelled from DSA by January.
Wow, huge overt push to attack dems, they're getting way more direct and way more over the top.
We're gonna get half of "BlueSky" screaming "genocide james" about Talarico by Tuesday, aren't we?
This has to be a spam bot attack.
Why did El-Sayed moderate his message, if leftist messaging is so popular?
Why did Talarico change?
Why didn't their prior ideas explode in the polls? Why weren't they up by 20 points?
The NBA has reached deals with Kalshi and Polymarket to make them the league's preferred prediction markets partners. The companies can now use NBA IP on their platforms, while the NBA gets right of approval on markets that they offer. That and more:

The left: The issues of the right never win, ever. Morality always wins.
Also the left: To prove this, we will stay home and let the right win, and normalized all the immorality they ran on.

A thread
(Feel free to add to this list. I am refining it as a shared resource to empower people with knowledge in order to counter Fascist propaganda and the oppression of ignorance and oblivion)
It is BEYOND shocking how a lot of people here will assume a dem is lying if the dem says something they agree with and take their words and assume the comical worst if its something they disagree with.
It is the total bad faith of someone who will never ever vote dem.
We are seeing a hunger disaster unrolling before our eyes.
Since Republicans passed the Big Beautiful Bill, 2 million kids have lost food assistance.
These are by far the deepest SNAP cuts in history, and each month, we find out it’s even worse than we thought. The worst is yet to come.
In the wake of unprecedented cuts in last year's Republican reconciliation law, SNAP participation & spending have been falling — and the decline is much deeper than the Congressional Budget Office initially projected. www.cbpp.org/blog/congres...
Me reading something about some ethan dude:
"The zoosha movement is toast. Liberals suck."
Wut?
Lol, I feel like the terminally online left knows way more about whatever this is than politics.
Some of us live in purple or red states and we see ALL DAY long billions in dark money ad spends from the gop.
Any program with a commercial, massive amounts of ads. Constant attacks.
And then, to come on here and see massive numbers of people also attacking.
That's how you lose elections.
God, all day long.
Just hundreds of layers of contradictions and irrational arguments from the left.
"We dont want trump to win, but...i will do nothing more than attack dems and blame them for every thing trump does."
Lolol
The left is an insane mess and zero leadership.
Wow... 160 blocks from the left upset at the facts of a poll (post below).
That's a VERY dangerous attitude when the kneejerk is to hide from the huge facts that are impacting elections.
A circlejerk that pretends the bigots don't exist won't save anyone.
The problem is, like 70 percent of america disagrees with it.
And in red states like texas and sc, that number is even higher.
"73% of Americans were uncomfortable with transgender athletes competing on sports teams that do not match their sex at birth."

Bioware....man. I'm not a huge gamer, but I dabble. Sometimes it feels like EA has a mission to destroy good game developers. Almost hard to even imagine anything could be this poorly managed on purpose for this long with these results and this record.
It becomes more and more clear that the left is ONLY a support group and is basically apolitical.
They want to talk about agreement, never win races or have any concern over majorities or passing even a single bill.
It's friends talking.
Its that brunch they speak of.
And that's all.
What the fuck is going on with the bots and the fairness doctrine?
I had three bots attack a generic post of mine that was a year and a half old? One random libertarian is one thing, but three?
Who is programming them to focus on the fairness doctrine? Is maga scared that dems will reinstate it?
It's so odd that folks here whine about "bluemaga".
Fuck yes I will support the only party standing up to trump.
What's the point in being hyper critical to the only party standing up to trump in an election season? My god, read the room. This is horrific under trump. Whining isnt enough.
Been on a bit of a controversual old movie kick lately, watched the old jappanese movie "House" and "The Devils". Both kinda werid, but very interesting.
I'm starting to think MANY U.S. voters just have some sort of oppositional defiant disorder.
And it's very empty in meaning. And very irrational.
Just "no, I want the other side" and hardly zero thought behind it.
Which means we will get a lot more of trump folks, many many times more.
Ossoff: "If you're involved in any of this, next year you'll be raising your right hand and swearing to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you God, in front of Congress!"
While there's 1,000 reasons to have voted for hillary and kamala...
One of the ones I'm most salty about is not seeing the face of trump and his fans when a woman beat him.
It would have invaldated his insanity AND validated the ability of women to lead and win elections all in one move.
PPI inflation is HIGH. 6.3 percent. We should talk about that more.
As I understand it, that's what companies pay for goods and it's often an indicator of the prices later down the road as they pass that inflation on to consumers.
Just in time for Christmas.
And elections.
James Talarico: Let me say something that a lot of Democrats aren't willing to say. We should be good stewards of taxpayer funds. If plumbers and nurses and teachers are gonna be giving the federal government their hard earned tax dollars, we should be using that in the most efficient way possible.
Digger is a movie that sticks with you. And it got me to thinking... about the reception of the movie.
It feels like a reflection of our problem we often face on here.
1/3
Many agree that the overall message of the movie is one they agree with. Most say it was artfully done.
And I feel like MANY people forced their own perceptions on it.
Yet, again, we clash in exact details of execution to the point of killing the message.
And while bad messaging can obviously kill a point... I don't think this was that bad at all?
I start to wonder about any real poltical messaging in art. If it can work on scale?
The left always is enraged at dems not out manuvering the gop and dominating the national agenda...
But they don't care at all that the left can't outmanuver shit. Can't dominate shit. Can't organize or get almost anything done.
If the impetus of change is the issue, why does the left need none?
Jen Hernandez, and people like her, may just decide who controls Congress this year.
Hernandez, 43, is Mexican-American, millennial, married, and lives in a small city in Colorado.
In 2016, she voted for comedian Roseanne Barr. In 2020, she backed Biden, and in 2024 Jill Stein. 🧵
