Pat McAfee shouldn't be on tv every day. He should be the guy from college you assume is dead now when in actuality he just works for his dad and was ordered by a judge to delete his Instagram.

I have not talked to a very specific person in over a year now but, always associate him most with this time of year because it's usually when we would find our way back to each other and really you would think with all I have going on it wouldn't creep back

but I think just enough time has passed that there is like a faint nostalgia for the friendship and that linger regret that on the third pass we still couldn't get any part of it right and that at the very least I couldn't be as firm and honest and maybe even mean as I should have been

Incredibly high likely hood I am walking an hour to work today because I have no fucking idea what the parking situation down town looks like

We went to go see the devils tonight and during that first screen where it's informing you that it's based on a true story the entire theater burst out laughing, and I feel insane about this because like that's not a joke it is based on a real witch hunt???

I know with all the mythology surrounding the devils, it's probably so much easier to think about this movie as Ken Russell being like WELCOME TO MY TWISTED MIND, but no but actually that was just the French

I rotate this dub clip from Cyber City Oedo 808 in my head every couple years.

The Ramaswamy campaign not only tried to capitalize on a child rape victim, they did it by using an old homeless woman who—while vile—is in no mental shape to adequately understand the stakes. And did they pay her? Either answer is bad.

Donna Arthur — aka Amy Acton’s estranged mother, and the person whose testimony Vivek Ramaswamy devoutly trusts — has been living with her cats, in a car, in a church parking lot, having declined housing assistance. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/24/u...

I don't think anyone who saw this tech when it first debuted had any confusion about for what or on whom it would be used.

The person I lived with in Philly bought the giant mayo once We had a really tiny fridge and I didn't want them to get it cause it would take up too much room and there was no way they would use it all before it went bad They got SUPER mad about it and pitched a huge fit

Insisting they used Mayo daily, that it doesn't go bad, and then accusing me of not wanting them to save money. That thing sat in our refrigerator for three years and came with us when we moved and finally one day they went to open it and it was still 80% full and completely rotten.

Yup. My stomach did not like that. However I now must be strong and face the consequences of my actions 🥲

I got home from my shift and ate like 30 pizza rolls. I feel like my tummy is going to regret this tomorrow but right now I feel fulfilled

This is devastating to me. His work was so influential to me in hight school. I wrote my SAT essay on Coin Locker Babies. I passed on the technical part of the writing, but received feedback from the test proctor saying they thought I made the book up and they deducted points for that!

Japanese author Ryū Murakami has passed away at the age of 74. My introduction to Murakami was through his work on Tokyo Decadence and Love & Pop, two films which used sex to explore the social alienation of the time. They are both tender and violent.

This excerpt from a 1994 Spin magazine story about Soundgarden (written by the legendary Jonathan Gold) is all you need to know about Billy Corgan. We are all Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil.

Obsessed with this post from a Japanese guy that's in LA for the (canceled) Uma live. Took his ticket refund and spent it on a Ford F-150 rental so he could rip through the California deserts. We're not so different. Foreigners come to Japan to rent Nissan GT-Rs to rip through the mountain passes.

we should all be pissed off at this btw. if not because sex work is legitimate work and should be treated with respect, then because you should be concerned at attempts to gentrify online spaces as pretext to court investors and force out minorities so those spaces can become part of a portfolio.

Suikoden III was out 24 years ago (2002)!🔥 An incredible interconnected tale of 4 heroes and over 100 Stars of Destiny (plus a cool secret villain epilogue!). An incredible story, charming OST, and an OP I still think about it years later. Art + Reviews: www.rpgfan.com/game/suikode...
