Hey #GameDev folks, it's almost time for #SteamNextFest Summer and I want to play YOUR demos! I'm putting together our usual video coverage with @noclipvideo.bsky.social to highlight some of our favourites, so if you've got a demo in the event, feel free to reply HERE or E-MAIL me (check my bio)!

I recently posted a 3 part review of October Next Fest Demos! The first is here: youtu.be/alLwTxSTMkg Word to the wise. Keep your cat away from your keyboard while Davinci Resolve is open. #gamedemos #steamnextfest

DevFest WI is coming soon, and I'm speaking at the event! The conference is on Tuesday, August 19 at the Memorial Union in Madison. www.devfestwi.com Since you're in my network, I'm going to save you some money on the ticket! Use the code "SPEAKERS2025" when purchasing a ticket, and you'll save 50%!

I posted some reviews of games that I wish listed during this month's Stream Next Fest. Check it out! youtu.be/fQ-VrTd11k0

I recently tried out the Cast n Chill demo, and I have some thoughts about it, so I made a video: youtu.be/Jq7twydHlCA?...

If you're in the mood for a virtual conference today, check out the Virtual Coffee stream- www.youtube.com/live/EvDJpN-...

I played a ton of games in the most recent Steam #nextfest, and I ended up adding 30 games to my wish list. Feel free to check out my thoughts on them!

Hey #GameDev folks. I made a video with tips to help gamers take advantage of #SteamNextFest later this month: youtu.be/SXqENbT-0l4 I also made a few game suggestions, including Olliefrog Toad Skater by @mrthee.bsky.social If you have any tips or game suggestions, share them here or on the video!

Hey #GameDev folks! With #SteamNextFest coming up, I'm trying to put together a list of demos to try. I prefer chill games, cozy games, and flow state games, especially smaller sports and racing titles. Feel free to reply with information about your game!

Game devs! If you have a demo lined up for Steam Next Fest this month, please let me know! I can't promise I'll cover every game, but I am looking to put together a highlight reel of weird, interesting, and fun games for GameSpot. #indiegames #gamedev #Nextfest #SteamNextFest

Hey, #gamedev folks. It looks like we're one month out from #steam #nextfest. Is now the time I can start putting together my list of demos to try, or should I wait until 2/10, when there's about two weeks until the event? I'm not trying to stress folks out, I'm just trying to figure out the timing.

I had a ton of fun running #THAT meetup on @guild.host today. Good attendance, great conversations, and tons of fun. Hope to see more of you in the future!

Hey folks, is there a #thatconference bluesky feed? I'd be interested in following that feed.

Hey #photography folks. I'm looking to start a journal along with my digital photo sessions, and I'm wondering what folks usually write down. Any suggestions/apps? I'm thinking: * Date * Camera/Lens(es) * Initial goals/thoughts * Thoughts after shooting or reviewing images

Happy belated Public Domain Day! blog.archive.org/2025/01/01/w... Does anyone have plans to use, reuse, or remix any of the newly public work?

I'm doing an Extra Life stream this Saturday on Twitch. Does anyone have suggestions on games to try? I'm going to play Tron:Identity by @mikebithell.bsky.social for sure. It's going to be a 12 hour stream, give or take, and part of the stream will be multiplayer with other folks from my team.

Now that BlueSky seems to be picking up, let’s have some fun 😄 It’s been a long time since I’ve given away free avatars. Reply to this post with a photo. The more goofy, the better! I’ll pick at least 10 to draw for free! Please share! And follow for silly doodles and software posts 😜

I recently made a video previewing some of the games that I encountered at MDEV. Feel free to check it out! youtu.be/lU9N0ege7Zw

Apparently I was on local TV B-roll at the MDEV conference while playing Hive Jump 2: Survivors! I appear around the 1:00 mark. I was the Prepper Jumper in the late stages, so there were many projectiles. I purchased this game a few months ago, and I do recommend that folks check it out.

Hey, folks. New over here. One thing I've been doing recently is working on a new YouTube channel. No pressure to view, but the most recent video is a review of Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, which is a productivity framework disguised as a game - youtu.be/9nFF1zPGAyw
