This is why people reject the digital-only future for consoles but not for PC.

lol suck it nerds For people who don't follow Toronto politics, Brad Bradford and Daniel Tate are basically what you would expect from people named Brad Bradford and Tate. I'm glad neither of them even came close.

"I don't play many video games but I like Grand Theft Auto and to play the new one I'll have to buy a-" 2013 "PS3 for $200" vs 2026 "PS5 for $500 to $750" Boy are those ever not the same circumstances

Are you willing to pay 10x the bi-weekly sale price of this bundle to be able to play it on a handheld? I get that porting games costs money and a new version can't be sold for that little and still be worth making, but I'm a consumer and I don't care about that.

There's no place for BioWare in homophobic (among other things) Saudi Arabia. EA is making it very easy to never buy another EA game as long as I live, because they're never going to make anything worth playing ever again.

EA will reportedly cancel the new Mass Effect and shut down BioWare, the storied RPG studio it acquired 19 years ago. It's the first massive change after Saudi Arabia took EA private in the most expensive leveraged buyout in history.

I flew my mom in from Newfoundland for my wedding and my plan was to go all over the place and do everything in the world while she's here, but her arthritis in her knees and hips has been destroying her. She needs to rest a lot and she can't go very far before it gets to be too much for her.

Up early to bring mom to the airport. She had a better day than the rest yesterday w/r/t her arthritis but it did kick in in the afternoon so we had to go home earlier than planned. She's had a good attitude about it, which is good, because it would break my heart if she'd been upset the whole time.

I bought Belmont's Curse after reading all those reviews from people who apparently don't value music, or graphics, or enemy variety, or control consistency, or originality, or apparently anything besides having a deck of little friends yammering in your ear at all times, and it's not good.

Learn that a boss is in the clock tower, go to the clock tower, climb the clock tower, whoops wrong way you got the bad ending, go back down the clock tower, try to find other boss in clock tower, fail, find another boss outside clock tower instead, whoops, need the clock tower boss to fight him

I should have known the reviews were pointless when they were talking about the parry mechanic like it's a breath of fresh air for the series and not some generic thing we've all done a trillion times in the past few years.

I feel really bad about it, because there's so much cool stuff here in Toronto that I've always wanted to show her, and she doesn't get to travel basically ever. She's enjoying everything she's been able to do. I think she's still going to go home and tell everyone about the wonderful time she had.

Honestly, if the story stuff was releasing today, I'd play it immediately. I wonder how long those stories will be. It'd be nuts if it was just four whole entire Parts 1.

new Epic Games Launcher in preview - "Programming is hard. So, instead of doing that, we vibe coded a new Epic Games Launcher that’s way faster and more responsive than the current one, and has a new look." store.epicgames.com/news/epic-ga...

Well, I think that was the longest game I've ever played, but I finished Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave and I absolutely loved it. I hope they add the cut Flame Lord stories as DLC, because it's pretty obvious in retrospect that we're supposed to learn more about them and some other characters.

The best way to play seems to be to play one part 1 and then at least 1 more, recruiting as many different characters as possible, because you will be happy to have a large army by part 3. This is not a Fire Emblem where you pick 8 characters and then use them through the whole game.

I like Jane Foster Thor but I wish they'd just let her be Valkyrie. I'm tired of Venom. Jubilee is unexpected and cool.

The EGM Compendium kickstarter I backed went silent for months, which is bad. But today they released the lost issue of EGM, which was fully finished but never printed, which is good. They also released a brand new issue for backers, which is also good.
