There was a guy last year who came to my table and bought a copy of "Under Pressure" because he saw the review on @brokenfrontier.bsky.social and, quoting: "they are never wrong". This is definitely one of the books I am most excited to get at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social this year.

THOUGHT BUBBLE MONTH review! Stardate – The Worst Case Scenario for Interplanetary Dating Shows By Eran Aviram and Aviv Or. @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social @avivor.com @uptofourplayers.bsky.social @nnesk.bsky.social #TBatBF26 www.brokenfrontier.com/stardate-tho...

Trying to send a parcel to UK. Checking UPS to estimate the cost and when adding all details in the "price" window there is only "Send now" button that leads to filling the final form. Words can't describe how I hate this company.

It's the last day of my vacation. I need to do one more page today to have 10 pages done. Haven't done much else in those days. I was pretty much drawing comics and watching incest. I mean "House of Dragon". Incest in "House of Dragon". They sure do love their incest there.

Dubrovnik made me finally start watching "House of Dragon". I was reluctant after the final "Game of Thrones" seasons, but it's pretty good so far. The only thing that bothers me is the casting age. At one point there is only three year difference between Alicent and one of her sons.

Drawing today would've been much more fun it I wasn't drawing additional pages to the chapter about my least favourite comic book experience.

I am drawing comics! And I will draw comics all day! And in the evening I'll go to the movies. What a day to be me!

Yesterday I found out there is an Eight Doctor BigvFinish story written by Mark Gatiss with Jessica Stevenson and Simon Pegg in the cast. Guess what I'll be listening on the plane in an hour.

It's happening! Last day of work, final effort and tomorrow we're going on a little break to Croatia and then I am taking time to finally focus on my book full time for few days, because so far I was only able to squeeze few daily minutes of drawing between regular jobs, like a CRIMINAL.

They sold out eventually... SO I PRINTED MORE, BECAUSE I AM A BUSINESS MASTERMIND! Two volumes of my "laugh out loud*" autobio comedy series will be available at #ThoughtBubble next month and then in some stores across the UK. * according to Broken Frontier review.

We finally finished putting tiles on the side of our garden shed. What we expected would be maybe an extended weekend job, took us every weekend in the last month and some extra days during the work week. BUT IT IS DONE NOW.

Here is a look at comics debuting on @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social this year. We're sadly not on the list, because that year wore me down so much that I simply forgot to send ours. I did manage to find time to feel rubbish about it though. Good priorities, brain.

I was never a huge fan of "Friday the 13th" series (I did enjoy the sixth one and the space Jason), but I admit that first episode of "Crystal Lake" has got me hooked. And I wish Jason was using a hook, so the wordplay would work here, because accurate "has got me machete'd" just sounds stupid.

This is my wife's favourite page from this issue.

If you can count... cool skill, bro. Happy for you. 🙄 "Freshly Grown Gardener" #2 and #3 to premiere in ONE MONTH on @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social!

Everytime I am reminded about "Nope" I have a instant desire to rewatch that movie. I think it's time to stop pretending and just admit that this is definitely one of my favourite movies of all time.

Listen, if I would say buying this book is my main reason of going back to Harrogate this year I would exaggerate only a little.

Solver volume 2 goes to print tomorrow, here's the cover, hopefully in hand for Thought Bubble in mid Nov. All the comics from Wobbly Head to date, plus three new pages at the end.

Some time ago I started a project where I adapt one scene from a #DoctorWho story into a comic book page. Four of those were printed in "Doctor Who Magazine". I loved doing it and I need to scrub some time to do more. Would love to draw an official DW comic one day. Fingers crossed!

Oh boy! It's here! I think this is THE comic book I am most excited for this year. Polish edition of "Spent" was one of my first jobs and the book made a huge impact on me. So happy that Joe Matt's work was finally collected in this big book (that is surprisingly much lighter that it looks).

ahhh~ I never do fanart, but I channeled my inner child for these. I still remember trying to sculpt pokemon in modeling clay when I was 9/10. They did not look good. :D

Little reminder to my comic book friends over here, that some time ago @jenskstyve.bsky.social made this app to track the progress of your books. I am tracking my own project in this, so I'm recommending it! Also apparenly I still have 42 pages to go, so I better shape up!

I made BookMaker app/site for me and some creative friends, but if you‘re a bookmaker (Comics? illustrations? novels?), maybe you’ll find it useful too! www.jensk.net/bookmaker

If there's a term related to comics fairs/festivals/cons that we really need to retire it's "pity buys". Let's think of them as "empathy buys" instead. You're facilitating someone getting the story they wanted out into the world and reaching one more reader. There's nothing disparaging about that!

It's not exactly 'historical', but I hate how people pronounce John Constantine's name. I understand why it was pronounced like that in Keanu Reeves movie where they decided to make him american (hence the american pronounciation) but I feel people got used to it and we're stuck with it now.

It took me some time, but I think I am finally getting into "Snotgirl" by O'Malley & Hung. It was a rough start (it did have to suffer comparisons to "Scott Pilgrim" and "Seconds" which I both love) but the more I read it all the insane drama and plot twist every five pages started working.

RT if you've never had a tab of ChatGPT open, period. I honestly to this day not really sure what it is exactly. Is it a webpage? an special app? a new function in something old? Never had a need or interest to check.
