#ffxiv Azem actually does talk to Airy when he's a child! :) he thinks they're an imaginary friend (they're not. they're very much a literal ghost); they took care of him, and treated him as their own child. they stopped appearing to him once he got adopted, and 'moved on' so their soul could rest

#ffxiv Airy inherited Azem's ruby eye and their white freckles. Airy's hair is significantly lighter, whilst Azem's is more deep violet it is indeed something shared across all of Azem's shards! though not all of them have purple hair, all of them have at least one ruby eye and white freckles! :)
