Gatorade is ditching artificial colors to pivot away from athletes. And is YouTube getting rid of thumbnails? File New has the latest design and creator news of the week! Also: - Aston Martin is suing Geely over a winged logo - Tim Cook steps down - The history of the Bézier curve + Lots more!

New edited File New episode is up! Every week I break down the biggest stories in creator tech, design, rebrands, media, and resources This one covers smart glasses and privacy, Hollywood’s $79B debt problem, Apple’s new $599 MacBook, Canon's prototype camera, and more! Watch it here:

In memory of Catherine O’Hara here’s one of my favorite quotes

This is really cool. It's a website that lets you put in social posts and articles to clock if its optimized for knee-jerk emotional reactions www.ragecheck.com

What does it mean if I'm seeing Donald Trump in the shadows of my shower

In this week's episode of File New: - Premiere Pro updates - Substance 3D updates - Black Friday deals for Cricut and School of Motion - A cool spotlight of dithering by @damarberlari.bsky.social - Font of the Week goes to Gyst www.youtube.com/live/cQ64RNL...

Here's my usual Monday painting from @maddybellwoar.com 's stream.

This game is like 6 game genres in 1. If you've got 30 minutes, definitely recommend it store.steampowered.com/app/3992630/...

Boys Go To Jupiter is now available to stream on Amazon Prime. Watched it last night and it was a trip. Worth a watch if you're looking for something weird this weekend

The CEO of the Philadelphia Art Museum was allegedly fired over the new rebrand by a disgruntled board. But I think it's actually a nice nod to the past???

Why did this take so long

Painted along @maddybellwoar.com 's stream today and touched it up a bit a little afterwards. Somewhere between 1.5-2 hours. I think it's somewhere in Italy?

Huge for people showing you videos at partys

Did a 1.5 hour virtual plein air

ehhhh I don't want my employer attached to my face. I feel like there are some very serious privacy concerns here

Something to take the edge off www.youtube.com/watch?v=iUH4...

Cool to see more people getting credit. Wild how easy it is to forget how many people are involved in each song

Just learned about Soviet Union Winnie The Pooh

Why does this always feel so ominous?

Honestly she lasted about 20 more months than I anticipated

It's so crazy how the comics, animation, and video games industries are wildly popular billion dollar profit type shit and yet there is no money and no jobs for the people who make that possible

Nice to see, especially since artists usually don’t have control over the robots.txt file on the platforms they post to.

Another feature I'd love to use if the point of entry wasn't $3,500

I know I need to be more active on here and not just post this link each week, but for what it's worth, going live! www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJk3...

Chat GPT just updated and ripped off guard rails for generating images of public figures unless they opt out. This is so messed up, unethical, and dangerous.

Growing up did your neighbor convince you that using "Rosebud" was a virus? And did you still risk it all for your lil sim to be part of the 1%? Or was that just me?

MY BOY
