I worked. I was building GIS maps to track infection rates to determine the risk of travel, i worked on BLE contact tracing. I was one of the first to get the mRNA vax because the work i did was critical. I traveled to train people. I was part of the mobilization response.

We gave up when the map we made went solid black (out of range - high) and no one wanted the app because tracking (it didn’t) then it got political and my work was all erased, the AWS ec2s were deleted while I was OCONUS by higher ups. …I made my self sad, I’m going to drink now…

Currently at 5 weeks since breaking my ankle. I’ve had the air cast off for the past week and have been biking everyday (except during the hurricane yesterday). My time still sucks but I’m happy to be able to do 10 miles without much ache.

Not near where I was before it happened but I’m happy to be moving again. Surgeon said I could bike as long as the break doesn’t hurt. The break is ok but oh boy do all the other tendons hurt.
