But soul bonds? I really did not need to know it's just a decaying whirlwind of electrons and chemicals. I could have lived oblivious to that, thinking it's just curmudgeonly grumbling of the unlucky. The fabric of reality feels more naked than ever, and not in a pleasing way.

Let it go. That brief moment of happiness? Stop with that limerent bullcrap. Stop clinging to it. It's over. It only lives in your pathetic mind. Nothing transcends the flesh, the material, the merciless scythe of time. *Tired, resigned sigh.* Kesslerian meaning-making will have to work overtime.

Tooth fairy, Santa and all the childhood characters had to die. That's, I'd even dare say, a healthy part of maturing. God (et al.), apparently, too, as I landed on atheism. Better be realistic with your expectations, I guess.

I know it's cliché, but I've been feeling like absolute dogshit for months now. Fellows from r/okbuddyliterallyme2 know the vibe. (Still learning the way things are done on Bluesky, apologies in advance for the notification noise!)

Inside of me, there are two wolves. One fears death like nothing else in this world. The other one would rip his heart out if it meant he would get to spend an hour with Her before fading out forever.

You are up to date.
