A lovely interview! Also, never underestimate hearing a long-time collaborator describe you as someone who “never phones it in” to make you a little misty! Having Dave describe me as doing a huge amount of thinking and then be totally present in character while recording: very validating!

The adventure game community is just the best! I am still slightly stunned that I was interviewed for an exhibit there on Old Skies, and they shared lots of material about me and my performance- Dave's in the video and I think he feels similarly bemused!

Is there a good free online poster template website which is drag & drop for images and type in details that doesn’t use AI? I need something to post in the comments of AI flyers from community businesses as a constructive alternative when pointing out the harms (and illegibility) of AI posters.

Fun fact: this is also true of gardeners! Beginners often use mistakes as proof they’re not good enough, but experienced gardeners know you just have to keep making mistakes, and eventually it all works out. Every garden is a bunch of happy accidents, and I think that’s beautiful.
