A great library has a least one book that will anger and offend you. A completely useless library is filled with books that don't challenge your mindset.

I think prayer and Bible reading are the best antidotes to toxic legalism. 😎

I know this kind of stuff gets thrown in the category of toxic legalism nowadays but I’m willing to risk it. Lol. I’m telling you as a sister, friend and an Auntie that I’ve lived a long time, experienced and observed a lot and seen long-term effects of habits, both bad and good.

Why do Ukrainians call Russian occupation temporary? Here’s why: Putin once said Russia was “permanently” staying in Syria. Now, they’re gone.

Let’s take a moment to notice how silently Russian forces are leaving Syria. This proves one thing: the world must not concede anything to Russia. It’s time to double down on support for Ukraine—Russia can be defeated and sent home.

The world is in an absolutely bonkers cycle of churn and for the first time in years the needle is ticking the right direction. This is not the time for Americans to accept less.

Dems faced a difficult election cycle, but we should be proud! Felon is under 50% of the popular vote, not a mandate ranking 44th out of 51 elections since 1824! In 2016, Ds had majorities in 29 state legislatures & 6 Dem trifectas. Going into 2025, Ds have 40+ state leg majorities & 15 trifectas!

The international order where the russian terrorist state is a permanent, veto-wielding member of the United Nations Security Council is not worth preserving. For world peace to be possible, it is better to destroy the russian terrorist state and build a new international order.

Inspiring how a courageous group of parliamentary legislators stood firm against a President (Yoon Suk Yeol) who overstepped his authorities and attempted to use his nation’s military in repressing democratic rights. A pretty good example of checks on presidential power.

33 years ago on this day, the Ukrainian people chose independence. In a referendum, more than 90% supported it, including the majority in the east and Ukrainian Crimea. Ukraine has always been and will always be united and indivisible. No compromises on territorial integrity.👇

The significant territorial losses being suffered by the russian puppet regime in Syria would not have been possible without the courage and professionalism of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Ukrainian defenders have ripped apart the armed formations of the russian terrorist state.

Lots of people say they are tough on China. Supporting Ukraine is the one easy and safe way to deter China. Those who don’t support Ukraine can’t be taken seriously on China.

⚡️Taiwan’s former president urges US to prioritize aiding Ukraine over Taiwan, Politico reports. "A Ukrainian victory will serve as the most effective deterrent to future aggression," former Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen said during the Halifax International Security Forum.

“After the army, I saw a fire station through the bus window, walked in, and stayed for 34 years…” Today, Kyiv firefighter Oleh Shcherbak retires after decades of protecting his city, even through Russian attacks. His team gave him a hero’s farewell. Thank you, Oleh!

I sometimes need a reminder that there are a few Ukrainians I really, really, really don’t like.

Being born in Ukraine doesn’t guarantee fairness or reason. A Republican congresswoman is spreading Russian narratives, claiming Zelensky didn’t support his people. In reality, he stayed in Ukraine and spent the last 3 years visiting front lines to stand with his nation.👇

It’s still mind numbing to me (after all, it’s yet another parallel to Churchill leaving office in ‘45), but democracy matters. For better or for worse. I appreciate your comments and I’m glad to see you here.

The axis of fascist Russia and clerico-fascist Iran has suffered a major defeat. The city of Aleppo has been liberated by the Free Syrian Army. Puppet regime forces of Bashar al-Assad have been routed.

The U.S. and its allies sacrifice nothing but are eager to capitulate to russian terrorists. Ukrainians make enormous sacrifices yet they're determined to defeat the invaders and liberate their brothers and sisters trapped behind enemy lines. Let's back courage, not cowardice.

A short story: I started posting on Twitter around 2018. I started posting under a pen name to speak out about what I saw as the dangerous and destructive politics of Trumpism. From a guy with no followers, and no one to follow, over time I found a community of like minded people. Then I found
